Our Programs
Banners Childcare incorporates the Reggio Emilia approach to our early childhood education program.
This approach believes that children are competent, active, and resourceful learners who thrive on interaction with others. The Reggio Emilia approach strives for children to acquire skills of critical thinking, collaboration, and understanding by encouraging and strengthening each child’s explanation of his or her reasoning.
Developmentally appropriate activities that adhere to early childhood education industry standards
Clearly stated learning objectives to help facilitate learning in all domains
Flexible programming to accommodate varied learning styles
An Emphasis on Play
Through play, we aim to provide children with a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child’s social and emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We believe an educational atmosphere of warmth and affection along with fun activities, can encourage a child's natural curiosity in learning allowing the sense of self to thrive.
With an emphasis on play, Banners Childcare offers various opportunities for exploration and creativity in an environment rich with age-appropriate toys and games. Through these experiences, children can create their own identity, values, and opinions; and confidently compare, hypothesize, and problem solve.
